Creighton Rock Drill Ltd’s journey with Combi Wear Parts

Al Creighton, Principal Owner and Senior Vice President, has been selling Combi Wear Parts’ high-quality products since 1972. Over the years, this partnership has not only expanded his business across North America but also strengthened profitability and customer satisfaction. Here’s his story.

Has your partnership with Combi Wear Parts helped grow your business and improved your profitability? If yes, tell us how.
Yes, it has. It has opened up the entire USA market for us. Additionally, we can now install C-REX in Canada without the fear of being poached.

Do you have a memorable customer experience or success story with a Combi Wear Parts product that you want to share?
An excellent example is the Cat 992 hot slag loader bucket. We initially delivered two buckets equipped with ProClaws at a competitive price. Their exceptional performance led to the conversion of the customer’s entire fleet.

What would you say to others considering becoming a dealer for Combi Wear Parts?
The parts are highly engineered and manufactured in Sweden, which is a strong selling point in today’s market dominated by products from China. The pin can’t fall out, so tooth loss is a thing of the past, and the lip shrouds are the very best on the market

Can you share how your partnership with Combi Wear Parts has impacted your revenue, earnings, and customer base?
Our partnership has expanded our customer base across North America by increasing our territory. This growth has also enabled us to offer additional products to this larger market, increasing both revenue and inventory. It has strengthened our brand in North America, which brings benefits in many ways.
